I am Dr. Julio Alberto Sicard Cerda, a board-certified Plastic, Oncoplastic, and Post-Bariatric Surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional care to my patients in Santiago, Dominican Republic. My surgical training at the prestigious Hospital Felício Rocho in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, has equipped me with advanced techniques and a commitment to excellence that I bring to every patient interaction. As an active member of leading professional organizations including SODOCIPRE, FILACP, and IPRAS, I stay at the forefront of surgical innovations and best practices. My passion for breast reconstruction led me to establish IRECMA, the Institute of Breast Reconstruction, where I focus on helping patients restore confidence and quality of life. Beyond my clinical work, I have the honor of serving as Professor of Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery at PUCMM, where I became the first educator to teach this specialty in the university's five-decade history.
