I'm Dr. Jorge Maytorena Soto Gil, a bariatric and metabolic surgeon based in Tijuana, Mexico, with over 15 years of experience and more than 10,000 successful procedures performed. My mission has always been simple: to help patients achieve lasting weight loss and, more importantly, a better quality of life. I specialize in advanced, minimally invasive procedures, including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, and revision surgeries. My training began at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), followed by a UNAM-affiliated surgical residency, and was further shaped by international fellowships in bariatric and metabolic surgery.
