Dr. Wilfredo Rodríguez Peña is a highly trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 25 years of medical experience. He earned his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo and completed his general surgery training at Hospital Salvador B. Gautier in the Dominican Republic. He later specialized in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery in Caracas, Venezuela. Dr. Rodríguez Peña has advanced training in reconstructive procedures, including congenital and pediatric surgery, maxillofacial surgery, and oncologic reconstruction, with a special focus on breast reconstruction. He has also received specialized training in body contouring procedures such as gluteal and calf implants. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rodríguez Peña has held academic roles as a professor of anatomy and surgical semiology and has served in healthcare leadership as a hospital sub-director.
